• Making barndoors on a halogen lamp
• Clacker (I think this would be a nice to have but not nessasary)
• Making a 4 line stunt kite (We should see about getting some footage of traction kites and buggies as that is where this will lead in the end this will be the first part of a 3 project mashup)
• Teleprompter rig for camera with iPhone
• PVC fig rig for camera or a rail rig
• SteadyCam system (this as well will be a multiple part, 1st on merlin style steady rig and second on making a full rig)

not booked for anything between 25th and beyond yet.

Most other evenings I have off if you wana wait for a nice day for a test flight.

I dont know much about studio lighting, maybe Ill check my podcast bible  / and see if UVS has some lighting books for the basics.

I LOVE the idea of painting in the chroma key while I am talking! We will have to plan for it and see what we can do, remember wet paint is shiny and slightly darker than dry paint so it may be hard to get a proper key but definately worth trying.

Light stands are a great idea we can do that for the first segment. Give me a wish list of what style of lights you want. i.e. choma backlight (fluorescent) and I have 5 halogen lights I can re-purpose into what ever you want. Here is a document of what we can start with. Once I have your requests in I will get a part list and purchase the materials.

other then that Im not booked in for anything else.

We should do the chromakey wall in realtime... with you talking in front of it, while its painted on behind, wonder if we could pull that off, make it paint a different background as we roll the green on?

Im game to do some of the clean up, can try a time lapse, could work, just have to bring my dust cover for my camera

I vote for a clacker, and basic light rigs for the first show, its the 2 things we'll use every show, then go to something non film related, the kite is a good idea.

-I have 90% of what I need to do two/three FigRigs for video cameras.

-Maybe a merlin style steady cam rig.

-Make  a full cam rig from the Merlin above?

-Rail camera mount system

-Show Clacker

-Inexpensive quad line stunt kite for something different to offset the video equipment build up? This would also be the first of a 3-4 segment series that leads into Traction kites, kite buggies and some fun. We would need to show some more shots of me out using my expensive kites, a traction kite, and if I can borrow a buggy or find out when people I know are out buggying to go and get some footage of them so we could explain that this is only the start of a REALLY REALLY cool end project.

What we would need is first to decide what shows to do.

Have someone (Calder) write up a intro script for each (Go to Revision3 tekzilla or Systm and watch the first 30 seconds of a show to get an idea of what I mean)

Get some music to use for the show (Calder)

Make some 3D models of the builds for animation and as an offering to the audience that wants to build the stuff shown (Me)

Decide if we are going to do a chroma key setup so I know when I clean my shop out to paint a wall green.

Maybe get some stock footage of me cleaning my shop for the show possibly get out and get some kite buggy footage (Brendan / Ben)

Then we will have the footage to start doing some post and get this started.
